Wedding - Jay & Tawnya, August 27, 2011

The best way to desrcibe this day - Absolutley Perfect - because everything about it was just that-Perfect!
The weather - the dress - the location ..the list goes on....

I had the pleasure of meeting this incredibly cute couple last year when I did their engagement shoot and booked their wedding. Seeing them again this year and witnessing the growth in thier relationship was truly an honor to be part of.
What I didn't know about them was not only were they about to become husband and wife, but a family as well, and Tawnya a new step-mother to a gorgeous little diva we'll call M - A job I know she will be amazing at. Watching them interact as little family that day made my heart melt.
The photos posted below sure tell that story.

I can't tell you how thrilled I am for the 3 of you,  as you start your new journey in this thing called life.
I wish you many years of bliss!!! You deserve it!!!

Thank you for allowing me to be part of the most important day in your life.

Joanna...I was so impressed with you and your natural beauty. She thinks she isn't photogenic...you be the judge..Cause quite frankly I thought she had it all :)

I had a wonderful time doing the shoot and getting to know you. I wish you all the best with your new bundle of joy.

Here's a few of faves...I couldn't choose just 3...

Casting Call - Outdoor Maternity Session

Hello Tri-City Family

I am looking for the following:

A photogenic 8 months pregnant woman for July 17th, 2011, for a maternity photo shoot. I’m not talking your average photo shoot,  I need someone who is willing to step outside the box,  for a non-traditional outdoor session at various locations. These photos will serve as samples for use in my portfolio.

I will provide 10 of the best photos on CD to the lucky participant.

Should the weather be an issue an alternative date will be arranged.

If you or someone you know is interested in helping me not only build my portfolio,  but capture a lifetime of memories.....then this is the opportunity.
Please contact me at    info@linkorimagesphotography.com

"The Promposal" - James & Emma

“Promposals” have taken Canadian high schools by storm.

Once posed as a timid “Will you go to prom with me?”, the promposal is now an extravagant public affair.

Think choreographed dance numbers, serenades, elaborate scavenger hunts and dramatic staging, with “Prom?”....painted on cavalcades of cars, draped off bridges or slipped into fortune cookies...or in James & Emma's case...over the air waves.

To date - This was probably the most excited I have been to do photoshoot. I was surrounded by swarms of highschool students dressed in thier finest....and me....I was in total awe of the lavish collection of dresses and ohhh so many amazing pairs of shoes. For a moment I actually contemplated jumping in the limo and sneaking off to prom with them. I remember my prom night and I know those kids were in for a stellar evening.

I had fascinating time hanging out with such a great group of kids.

It was quite difficult to narrow it down the 3 photos to share with you - I'm in love with so many of them....but here are just a few....

Kates & Bates *The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge* April 30, 2011

What can I say about Kates & Bates....for starters they are cutest couple- and couldn't be more perfectly matched for one another.
I was over the moon with excitement when they asked me to do the photos for thier wedding..and so unbelievably nervous all at the same time...it was here...finally...an opportunity to photograph what I love..weddings.

I spent hours and hours fiddling with my camera,  brain storming ideas on how to capture those oh so perfect moments.. perfect lighting and perfect angles...Not to mention there always seems to be that bit of added pressure when your friends are involved.

What I didn't realize or expect about shooting a friends wedding was the emotional side of things...like when speeches began and I had to wipe my tears a half dozen times. Watching Katie's grandfather serenade her and her new husband was breathtaking..just an incredible moment. I had the most fun and amazing day with everyone. I was touched in so many ways and took so much from the experience. I cannot wait to have many more just like it.

Congratulations once again.......

Much Love...xoxo
