Jaxon

I had the pleasure of spending my sunday afternoon with this darling little guy named Jaxon and his parents. He arrived full of smiles - just as fast, those smiles quickly turned to tears and he began to fuss..so we sat and chatted while dad gave babe a quick feeding, then we got back to work...
Shortly thereafter he spit up... and again...and again... who knows how many times :)
Despite all the bumps along the way,  I think even  mom will be surprised at how many great shots there are.

Sisters - The Stefan Family

I couldn't wait to get editing after this shoot. There were so many great shots. I knew I was going to have a hard time selecting only a few to add to the blog.  They had the most beautiful little girls. Their eldest daughter was one of my shyest clients to date...She was as sweet as pie...and boy did she make me work. I said all kinds of silly things to get this girl to smile, and there was no breaking her. It wasn't until the tail end of the shoot with the help of Mom and Dad did she finally start to come out of her shell. She is the best big sister and loves to do what she can to help out mom.  I enjoyed every moment I spent with them.

Ladies and Gentlemen Please Welcome Rose Marie Joy.....

This session was special to me because this little slice of heaven just so happens to be my friends 1st born.
We had planned within days of her giving birth to do a newborn shoot, how ever fate had other plans.
Rose came into our world on December 6th, 2010 with an undetected Heart Condition called Transposition of the Great Arteries. The next 2 weeks of her life were spent in McMaster and Sick Kids hospital, where this little fighter braved 2 surgeries to correct the vessels and position them to what should have been a normal functioning heart. Mom and dad endured a gruelling 6 weeks while their bundle of joy recuperated.

Here we are 2 months later and  I'm happy to report she is doing remarkably well. While she still has a long road ahead, she is the perfect picture of health.
