Kates & Bates *The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge* April 30, 2011

What can I say about Kates & Bates....for starters they are cutest couple- and couldn't be more perfectly matched for one another.
I was over the moon with excitement when they asked me to do the photos for thier wedding..and so unbelievably nervous all at the same time...it was here...finally...an opportunity to photograph what I love..weddings.

I spent hours and hours fiddling with my camera,  brain storming ideas on how to capture those oh so perfect moments.. perfect lighting and perfect angles...Not to mention there always seems to be that bit of added pressure when your friends are involved.

What I didn't realize or expect about shooting a friends wedding was the emotional side of things...like when speeches began and I had to wipe my tears a half dozen times. Watching Katie's grandfather serenade her and her new husband was breathtaking..just an incredible moment. I had the most fun and amazing day with everyone. I was touched in so many ways and took so much from the experience. I cannot wait to have many more just like it.

Congratulations once again.......

Much Love...xoxo

Little Bones

Meet James....... He couldn't be any more the absolute spitting image of his father.

His mom just so happens to be one of the first few friends I met when I moved to this city.
I was elated when I found out she was expecting... and when she asked me to do the photoshoot I jumped at the chance.
I could hardly wait for the moment she delivered so we could plan our session.
Although we didn't get around to it till  9 weeks later....

He certainly challened us all...and had mom and I in a sweat trying to keep the him happy and still get some good shots. Dad was a great help,  although a little camera shy... as you can see the tender moments came easily for him... :)

Love this photo...It reminds me of an Old Navy ad.
