I thought today I'd take a moment to share a few photos of 2 special very people who are near and dear to my heart...my sons...whom as of lately, have been growing up before my eyes.
Only a few short months ago my youngest (he's 3 1/2) was still so dependant on me, and it seems like overnight he has evolved into this little independant person who is starting to need me less and less :(
He is potty trained and no longer has a "choochie" or uses a sippy cup...those were the last of the babyhood things he was to graduate from :(
He's a big boy now.....** Sniff*** Sniff**....I'm having a moment
Thank goodness for newbie sessions and getting my fill of babies...:)
And then ....there's my eldest.... this Friday he will be 16 - old enough for a girlfriend - and old enough to drive...YIKES! Where did the time go?? I remember a conversation we had - what seemed like yesterday, about him learning to drive. I remember telling him how long away it was (he was 7 at the time) and that we would talk about it when the time came...now...here we are- and yes - he wants to drive!
Although my boys are almost a generation apart and dont have a whole lot in common these days.
I know one day they will hold a special bond, like the one I carry with each of my siblings.
In the meantime...I'm just going to embrace every lasting moment I have with them because before too long they'll be grown and gone..
Love and hugz to you my boys...with every fibre of my being...you are the centre of my universe.
Love,
Mommy..xo
